Can Canadian international students travel to the US as tourists? Any visa required?
Can Canadian international students travel to the US as tourists just like US international students travel to the Canada? I want to know the answer to my scenario particularly. I was an US international student and now I am a Canadian international student. I am from Hong Kong and holding a Hong Kong SAR passport. Can I travel to the US as a Canadian international student as tourists just like I was travel to the Canada as an US F1 international student? Do I need to apply any visa? My US student visa haven't expired but my I20 has. Thank you for answering. Do I need to go to the US Embassy?

Yes you can travel to USA if you have resident in Canada. you get the Visa from USA airport

In some places along the border, you can just walk across. It's like a street. On one side is the US, the other Canada. No border patrol, crazy Mexico drug lords, etc. Just smooth sailing.
3 :
As a holder of a Hong Kong passport, you are going to need a tourist visa. Apply in your nearest US consulate in Canada. You cannot use your US student visa because you are no longer a student in the US. That visa became null after you stopped your studies here.

Your statements are wrong. U.S. students cannot go to visit Canada without a visa. Only U.S. Green Card holders may do so. However certain passport holders are visa exempted for a visit to Canada; those are for example citizens of the Hong Kong SAR. Same as U.S. students cannot go to Canada, Canadian students cannot go to the United States. Citizens of Hong Kong are not visa waived to the United States; you will need to apply for a B-2 visa to go to the States as a tourist. yes you need a visitor visa and yes you must attempt to get an interview at the US embassy - before your travel date

To answer your question. Working as a waitress, sales, depends where you work, what company. The wages varies from store to store, restaurant to restaurant, etc. Is about 2,500 - 3,500 HKD to start. Some companies may pay more.If you have better qualification and experienced, you may get higher wages.Always ask when you go there for interview. I assume you must also speak English and Cantonese there. Good luck.
2 :
the basic hourly wages set by the HK government wil be started fr HKD$28. if you hv more experience, maybe a bit higher. n usually a waitress / sales lady wil be work as fulltime. average monthly salary wil be abt HKD$7,000 up. depends on the commission scheme.

It's not what you asked for (sorry). But, there is no such place known as 'University Road'. However, There is a long road in Taipei (Da-An District) called He-ping Don Lu (He-ping East Road), which has 3 universities on it and next to the Guting MRT station you can find numerous art stores on either side of the road, there must be at least 10 - 15 art stores all together.
