Any ideas for an extra-curricular acitivity class? They are primary students in Hong Kong?
We are to meet on every friday for 1.5 hours to do some activities in English. I can choose the level grades that I would like to recruit for the class. The main problem is that the students' english level is too poor to understand complicated instructions in English. Also they are not suitable to do any exciting activities as they are too hyper and too hard to control.... please help..

Well, maybe you can try to talk to them slowly and use more sign/ body language. Hong Kong students should be rather friendly, I believe. Since it is pretty hard for them to get to school and the school fees are rather expensive, they will surely try to be good. Maybe you can use Mahjong or something like that that has something to do in their daily lives for them to learn the shapes and numbers of that particular tile. You can also make English classes more interesting with the help off softwares. You can too let them listen to nice English songs and explain it to them slowly. This applies to English movies too. Just make sure the movies funny. Be confident and don't lose hope.
